ITS Recovery: Compression Therapy

What is Compression Therapy

Compression therapy uses air pressure massage to relieve muscle aches and pains. During treatment, the pants help increase circulation to the treated areas to help the affected limbs recover faster after workouts and/or games/competitions.

**NOTE** These compression pants could also help reduce pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis.

Benefits of Compression Therapy

  1. Reducing swelling and inflammation
  2. Speeding up muscles recovery by increasing blood flow to the legs
  3. Preventing DOMS (Delayed onset of muscle soreness)
  4. Relieving muscle pain
  5. Improving athletic performance
  6. Increasing flexibility and range of motion (ROM)
  7. Removing exercise-related wastes like lactic acid
  8. Decreasing muscle fatigue
  9. Helps improve blood flow to the heart
  10. Supports your veins especially in your legs
